What 60W is not for: heavy industrial production (look at the 100W or 200W M7), deep engraving in hardened tool steel (use 200W or up), thin metal cutting above 0.3 mm (the 60W is not power-equipped for production cutting), glass or heat-sensitive plastic marking (use a UV laser instead).

Software and upgrade options
This machine ships with the standard Sino-Galvo SG7110 galvo head and EZCad 2 software included on USB. Two optional factory upgrades extend what the machine can do; either can be configured at the time of order.
Base configuration: SG7110 head + EZCad 2 + LightBurn via adapter
The standard configuration covers all flat-surface 2D marking applications. EZCad 2 is the most widely used fiber laser control software in production environments, with full support for variable text, serialized marking, photo engraving, vector imports, and TCP/IP and I/O integration for production lines. LightBurn is supported via a USB adapter that ships with the machine for operators who prefer that workflow.
2.5D upgrade: BJJCZ G3 Pro head + EZCad 3 (USD 750)
This upgrade replaces the SG7110 with the BJJCZ G3 Pro head and adds EZCad 3 software (included). What you gain: stepped Z-axis control during a single design pass. The laser can mark at two or three different focal heights on the same workpiece without manually re-cranking the Z between layers. Right for stepped workpieces, terraced parts, deep-engraving multi-pass jobs, and any application where distinct height layers need to be marked in one sequence.
Full 3D upgrade: Feeltek FR10-F dynamic-focus head + LenMark (USD 5,500)
The FR10-F steers focus in software (LenMark) and uses no swappable field lens — it is offered in 100 × 100 mm and 200 × 200 mm field sizes.
This upgrade replaces the SG7110 with the Feeltek FR10-F 3D dynamic-focus head and adds LenMark software (Feeltek’s controller-side 3D mapping and design-wrap software). What you gain: continuous focal-length adjustment as the galvo mirrors point the beam across a curved or three-dimensional workpiece. The beam stays at true focus across the full surface in real time, not just one calibrated band.
When to choose the 3D upgrade: production volume on curved workpieces. If you are running dozens to thousands of curved metal parts per shift (watch case-backs, rings, contoured housings, knife bolsters, cylindrical hardware), the 3D head pays back through faster cycle time and consistent edge-to-edge focus quality. For one-off curved jobs the standard fixed-focus head with manual Z repositioning still works, but the cycle time per piece is significantly longer. The math typically points to the 3D upgrade once you commit to a recurring production run on curved parts.

Marking area by lens
The included lens choice determines the marking area on the workpiece. Every JPT machine ships with two lenses of your choice from the standard set; the 175 mm lens is included by default unless you specify otherwise at checkout.

Shorter focal lengths give finer beam spots and higher detail resolution at the cost of a smaller marking area. Longer focal lengths cover more area at the cost of slightly softer detail. Most production shops run two lenses (one shorter, one longer) to cover the working range without swapping mid-job.

Both upgrades are installed at the factory at the time of order. Adding either later requires shipping the machine back as a service exchange, which is doable but takes longer than ordering with the upgrade up front. If you know at purchase that you will be marking stepped or curved workpieces in volume, configure the upgrade at checkout.
Shipping and delivery
Lead time: 2 to 3 weeks from order confirmation. Every machine is calibrated and tested before crating.
Shipping: Free DDP to US, Canada, and the EU 27. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is the freight model where every customs fee and duty for those zones is paid by us; the listed price is what your accounting team will see on the invoice. The 60W crate is lighter than higher-power M7 tiers (~30 to 35 kg total shipping weight), which makes freight handling simpler at the receiving end. DDP transit is approximately 30 days by sea freight to US and Canada or 20 days by rail freight to EU 27, with customs and import duties included in the price. CIF air freight is available worldwide at 12 to 15 days transit if you prefer faster delivery and handle customs clearance yourself. Rest of world: shipping is free, customs is handled by you.

Warranty
The 60W E2 includes a 2-year warranty on both the JPT E-series source and the machine. Two years rather than three reflects the E-series tier in our warranty matrix; no-prefix M7 and M8 sources (100W, 120W, 200W, 350W tiers) carry the longer 3-year term. The warranty covers manufacturer defects, source failure not caused by misuse, and the machine’s control electronics and assembly.
Return terms: defects only, 30 days from delivery, our engineering team handles the technical confirmation. We cover return freight in the original crate when a defect is confirmed. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between E2 and no-prefix M7?
E2 (also written as E-series M7) and no-prefix M7 share the MOPA architecture and the same pulse control range (2 to 500 ns, 1 to 4000 kHz). The differences are in beam quality (E-series M² less than 1.5 versus no-prefix M7 M² less than 1.4), supply voltage (E-series uses 24V DC; higher-power no-prefix M7 uses 48V), and the JPT warranty backstop (we offer 2 years on E-series, 3 years on no-prefix M7). For most marking work the difference is not visible; for batch-to-batch color repeatability, the no-prefix M7 beam quality is worth the price step.
Why is the E2 called M7?
JPT’s product naming uses “M7” to describe the MOPA architecture family. The full no-prefix M7 is the YDFLP-x-M7-M-R series (no E prefix). The E-series M7 is the YDFLP-E-x-M7-M-R series, which is the same architecture at a lower price point with relaxed beam quality. Some distributors refer to the E-series as “E2” colloquially. We use the JPT model number as the authoritative identifier on every product page.
Can the 60W do color marking?
Yes. The MOPA architecture controls pulse frequency and pulse width independently, which is what produces color on stainless steel and titanium. The 60W tier hits the full color spectrum; batch-to-batch hue consistency is slightly less tight than the 100W tier (M² less than 1.5 versus less than 1.4) but for most SMB color work this is not visible.
How does this compare to a 20W diode or hybrid prosumer marker?
Different category. Diode lasers at 5 to 20W are infrared diode or compact fiber sources, primarily for hobbyist and prosumer work on wood, leather, and softer materials. The 60W E2 is an industrial fiber laser galvo with MOPA pulse control, designed for metal and plastic marking at production volumes. The 60W can do color marking on stainless steel, deep engraving in metals, and serialization at line speed; the 20W diode lasers cannot.
When does the 60W ship and arrive?
Plan on 4 to 6 weeks from order to crate at your address. The 60W has one of the shorter production lead times in our catalog (2 to 3 weeks at the JPT factory) because the E-series M7 source has higher production volume than premium no-prefix M7 tiers. What about customs charges on import?
None for US, Canada, or EU destinations. We use DDP shipping, which means we pay all customs duties and import fees as part of your purchase price. Are the lenses, rotary, and Z-axis really included?

Should I get the 60W E2 or the 30W MOPA M7?
