Who we are NOT right for: hobbyists looking for a $300 enclosed diode engraver (a hobby diode-laser brand is the right tool), turnkey production cells with custom robotics (you want a systems integrator), or the absolute cheapest line item (someone always skips on source authenticity, accessories, or warranty to undercut us). Outside of those three groups, we are a serious option to compare.
What sets us apart
If you have been shopping for an industrial fiber, UV, or CO2 laser, you have probably noticed the market is split into two camps. There are the established Western industrial brands selling production-grade machines for $40,000 to $200,000+. And there are the mass-market hobby brands selling smaller, less-equipped machines for $2,000 to $15,000, mostly aimed at hobbyists and small shops.
JPT Laser Shop sits in between. We sell production-grade machines (real JPT M7 sources, Sino-Galvo SG7110 production scanner, full accessory package, 3-year warranty) at prices closer to the prosumer tier than the established industrial brands. We can do that because we build the machines ourselves and ship them directly from our China factory, coordinated through our support offices in the USA, Europe and Asia, without a multi-tier distribution chain.
Six concrete differences
1. Authentic source supply, documented
We are an authorized JPT distributor. The source model named on the product page is what ships in the machine; the source has a traceable serial number; JPT recognizes the warranty. This sounds basic; it is not common in the prosumer tier where source mismatches and gray-market sources are routine.
2. Two lenses, rotary, motorized Z, safety glasses, foot pedal, all included
Every fiber, UV, and CO2 galvo machine ships with two field lenses of your choice, one rotary of your choice, motorized Z-axis, wavelength-matched laser safety glasses, and a foot pedal in the base price. Most competitors charge $300 to $800 for each of these as add-ons after you have already committed. We do not.
3. Three-tier 3D capability ladder
Every machine includes motorized Z for focus on stepped parts. For software-driven Z control during a marking job (ramped engraving, contoured surfaces), the 2.5D EZCad 3 upgrade is $750. For full 3D contoured-surface marking on spheres and complex curves, the Feeltek 3D dynamic-focus head is $5,500. Most competitors either do not offer this ladder or hide the pricing until the quote stage.
4. DDP shipping to US, Canada, and EU
For USA, Canada, and the EU, the price you see is what you pay, with free shipping plus all customs and import fees included. Rest-of-world buyers get free shipping and handle their own customs through their broker. No surprise import bill after the order.
5. Warranty matched to the source class
No-prefix M7 and M8 fiber galvo machines: 3 years on source and machine. EM7 and E2M7: 2 years. UV: 18 months (UV diode lifetimes are shorter by physics). CNC fiber: 2 years. We publish the warranty matrix openly; no fine print, no surprises.
6. Multi-language support that actually exists
Sales and support coverage in English, German, French, Chinese, Serbian, Croatian, Arabic, Turkish, Urdu, and Danish. Useful if you are setting up a machine in a shop where the operator speaks a language other than English.
What we are not
- Not the right shop for hobbyist diode lasers. If you want a $300 to $1,500 enclosed engraver for wood signs and acrylic tags, a hobbyist diode-laser engraver is a better fit.
- Not a custom industrial integrator. If you need a turnkey production cell with custom material handling, robotics, and SCADA integration, you want an industrial systems integrator, not a direct-from-builder shop.
- Not the cheapest source out there. Our prices are competitive for production-grade fiber and UV, but if your decision criterion is the absolute lowest line item, you can find cheaper machines from sellers who skip on source authenticity, included accessories, or warranty.
Who we are right for
- Production shops scaling from hand-marking to a single laser machine
- Existing fiber laser owners replacing an aging or undocumented-source machine
- Industrial buyers who care about source authenticity, included accessories, and 3-year warranty more than the absolute lowest price
- Jewelry, watch, medical, automotive, valve, food-equipment, and aerospace shops needing production traceability marking
- Operations needing the rust-removal, welding, or cutting workflows our 3-in-1 / 4-in-1 welder and CNC fiber cutter cover
What buyers say
Real messages from real buyers, shared from our inbox with their permission. We never write or buy reviews — these are our customers’ own words.
“Dear JPT LASER, you are the meaning of professionalism. 2 machines bought from your company, I am absolutely happy for my choice to work with you and every day starting my production I feel safe.”
“I’ve had no regrets choosing Haotian over the other options, and Dino was there and answered every question I had when we first used the UV laser from them. Business is tough enough without unnecessary distractions. With you all the way JPT.”
“Customer service and support are unbeatable, period. I had some questions and you took time to help me — and then reached out to someone else for their input to help me further. Great product and even better customer support.”
“Your feedback and prompt response is greatly appreciated! It really helps when someone like myself is out of his knowledge zone. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!”
