The 100W MOPA M7 is our most versatile industrial galvo machine, built around an authentic JPT Opto-Electronics M7 source, the no-prefix M7 variant, designated YDFLP-100-M7-M-R. The MOPA architecture gives you independent control over pulse frequency (1 to 4000 kHz) and pulse width (2 to 500 ns), the technical feature that opens up color marking on stainless and titanium, ultra-fine detail at production speeds, and the same machine can also handle deep engraving in steel.

Software and upgrade options
This machine ships with the standard Sino-Galvo SG7110 galvo head and EZCad 2 software included on USB. Two optional factory upgrades extend what the machine can do; either can be configured at the time of order.
Base configuration: SG7110 head + EZCad 2 + LightBurn via adapter
The standard configuration covers all flat-surface 2D marking applications. EZCad 2 is the most widely used fiber laser control software in production environments, with full support for variable text, serialized marking, photo engraving, vector imports, and TCP/IP and I/O integration for production lines. LightBurn is supported via a USB adapter that ships with the machine for operators who prefer that workflow.
2.5D upgrade: BJJCZ G3 Pro head + EZCad 3 (USD 750)
This upgrade replaces the SG7110 with the BJJCZ G3 Pro head and adds EZCad 3 software (included). What you gain: stepped Z-axis control during a single design pass. The laser can mark at two or three different focal heights on the same workpiece without manually re-cranking the Z between layers. Right for stepped workpieces, terraced parts, deep-engraving multi-pass jobs, and any application where distinct height layers need to be marked in one sequence.
Full 3D upgrade: Feeltek FR10-F dynamic-focus head + LenMark (USD 5,500)
The FR10-F steers focus in software (LenMark) and uses no swappable field lens — it is offered in 100 × 100 mm and 200 × 200 mm field sizes.
This upgrade replaces the SG7110 with the Feeltek FR10-F 3D dynamic-focus head and adds LenMark software (Feeltek’s controller-side 3D mapping and design-wrap software). What you gain: continuous focal-length adjustment as the galvo mirrors point the beam across a curved or three-dimensional workpiece. The beam stays at true focus across the full surface in real time, not just one calibrated band.
When to choose the 3D upgrade: production volume on curved workpieces. If you are running dozens to thousands of curved parts per shift (rounded glass bottles, watch case-backs, ceramic vials, headphone shells, lampshades, contoured metal parts), the 3D head pays back through faster cycle time and consistent edge-to-edge focus quality. For one-off curved jobs the standard fixed-focus head with manual Z repositioning still works, but the cycle time per piece is significantly longer. The math typically points to the 3D upgrade once you commit to a recurring production run on curved parts.

Marking area by lens
The included lens choice determines the marking area on the workpiece. Every JPT machine ships with two lenses of your choice from the standard set; the 175 mm lens is included by default unless you specify otherwise at checkout.

Shorter focal lengths give finer beam spots and higher detail resolution at the cost of a smaller marking area. Longer focal lengths cover more area at the cost of slightly softer detail. Most production shops run two lenses (one shorter, one longer) to cover the working range without swapping mid-job.

Both upgrades are installed at the factory at the time of order. Adding either later requires shipping the machine back as a service exchange, which is doable but takes longer than ordering with the upgrade up front. If you know at purchase that you will be marking stepped or curved workpieces in volume, configure the upgrade at checkout.
Shipping and delivery
Lead time: 2 to 3 weeks from order confirmation. Every machine is calibrated and tested before crating.
Shipping: Free DDP to USA, Canada, and the EU with all customs and import fees included in the price you see. Free shipping for the rest of the world; the buyer handles customs and import fees through their broker. DDP transit is approximately 30 days by sea freight to US and Canada or 20 days by rail freight to EU 27, with customs and import duties included in the price. CIF air freight is available worldwide at 12 to 15 days transit if you prefer faster delivery and handle customs clearance yourself.

Warranty
The 100W MOPA M7 includes a 3-year warranty on both the JPT M7 source and the machine, the highest tier in our warranty matrix, applied to all no-prefix M7 and M8 fiber galvo machines. The warranty covers manufacturer defects, source failure not caused by misuse, and the machine’s control electronics and assembly. Software updates are free for the lifetime of the machine.
Returns work on a defect-only basis: 30-day window from delivery, our engineering team handles the technical confirmation, and the return ships at our cost in the original crate. Industrial laser equipment is made to order, which is why buyer-side change-of-mind is not a returnable event; this matches standard practice for capital equipment in this category. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between MOPA and Q-switched at 100W?
MOPA gives you independent control of pulse frequency and pulse duration, which is what opens up color marking, ultra-fine detail, and gentler material interaction. Q-switched is a fixed-pulse design; it is faster for raw ablation but limited to monochrome marking and offers less control. At 100W, MOPA is the more versatile choice for shops that need both production speed and detail work.
Can this machine cut metal?
It cuts thin metal: 0.1 to 0.5 mm of silver, brass, copper, and fine stainless. For thicker metal cutting (1 mm and up), look at our 200W Fiber Laser or the upcoming CNC fiber cutter range.
What software do I need to buy separately?
Nothing required. EZCad 2 and EZCad 3 ship on the USB key. LightBurn is supported via the adapter we typically include; if you want that workflow, the LightBurn license is around $80 from LightBurn directly.
Are lenses included or do I have to buy them?
Two field lenses are included. You pick the two sizes at checkout from 70 mm, 110 mm, 175 mm, 210 mm, or 300 mm. Most jewelry and watch-component shops pick 70 mm and 110 mm; production marking shops pick 175 mm and 210 mm.
Is the rotary included?
Yes. One rotary of your choice: D60 for rings and watch parts, D80 for medium cylindrical work, D100 for tumblers and bottles. You select at checkout.
Do I need the 2.5D upgrade?
Only if you need software-driven depth variation during a marking job (ramped engraving, contoured surfaces, auto-shift focus between part heights). Standard motorized Z is included on every galvo, and it sets focus before the run; the 2.5D upgrade lets you vary Z during the run. For flat parts at one focus height, the standard motorized Z is all you need.
How long until I receive the machine?
About 5 to 7 weeks from order to delivery. Yes, for the US, Canada, and the EU 27. Rest of world: free shipping, but customs and import handling at the destination port is on you or your broker.
